About the project.
Kylie Got Style is a bespoke tailoring brand with thirteen years of cutting and sewing behind it. We rebuilt the brand's website as a full-stack application: the collection, the brand story, the bespoke process and client voices on the public side, and a content-management portal behind it.
The challenge and how we solved it
- Step 1
The challenge
The brand's work changes every season, but updating the old site meant asking a developer. New pieces, client photos and reviews sat in WhatsApp instead of on the website where new customers could see them.
- Step 2
What they needed
- A collection the owner can update herself, with photos
- Brand story, bespoke process and client voices pages
- Orders through WhatsApp from every piece
- Light and dark themes on both the site and the admin portal
- A notification when a new piece is published
- Step 3
What we built
A server-rendered Next.js site with a Clerk-protected admin portal. Pieces, voices and site copy live in a Drizzle repository layer that runs on SQLite locally and Postgres (Netlify DB) in production. Images upload to Cloudinary, and a Telegram message goes out when a piece is published.
